Got a big jump? I am worried..

This is the first time, I am getting that much big jump..overall good that I got this experience too..

One of my site which was on the 1st page and for which I am struggling to be into top 5 listing..has jumped to 1st page to 28th page.

I am waiting for some nice comments from experienced SEO people here - that what could be the basic reason for it.

I have 6 years of experience in SEO and has got several good testimonials from my clients too but not saying that I am expert because SEO is a vast things.

As for your question, how old is the site and did you make any changes?

 

Have changed the text color.

My site has been lived from 8 months now but SEO for last 3 months and have got great positioning and traffic as per now. But this is our one of big target keyword. And, there are no changes yet from last 3 months but will soon have some.

 

i have a new site about 3month,but 2-3 vistor per day
how could increase traffic,

I am not that much expert to answer your question. I think, your competitor may did hard work to get your place and pulled you out. Do work more and more.

 

ya it may be your competitor are working hard then on regular basis...you have a vast exp . in SEO...you should come to on no.1...

 

Dont Panic Mit, this happens from time to time especially when google are playing with things and there is an update close. Carry on doing your normal link building and what every else you do if the site isnt back with in a week or two then thats the time to worry.

If you start changing things now you could make it worse

 

No, a huge fall of 28 pages (or 280 places) like this is most definately a penalty of some sort, usually affecting all but company-name related keywords.

You need to go back over any changes you've made on the site in the last few weeks and find out what's caused it, failing that have you bought a huge bundle of links recently?

 

Give it a few weeks and you should be fine. Honest SEO with plenty of link building will get you back. The same thing happened with my site and a few weeks later I was back in the same spot.

 

Totally normal dont worry about it, continue with your SEO efforts you will notice an improvement in the following months.

 

if it happen just recently , Then don't be worry your site will be back after 3 to 7 days on the same results, But if won't came back then you have to worry about this , then this happen just because you lost some back links from site where you are having back links, thats why you see huge jump, if you competitor does some hard work on them site, then you site will get down just some position, But if your site get huge jump in search results, its just because of google dance, or You lost your very quality back link from your sites, in first case you don't have to be worry, and in second you have to build up your back links once again

 

Have you made any money as a result of your seo?
Cause it would not be worth it otherwise.
