debit card paypal verification problem

    I m from India and i want to verify by paypal account by mine ICICI debit card but its getting error that your card is not valid ...
    what is this error i don't know mine card is valid in ATMS and its not getting verified by paypal account ...

    any suggestions !!!

    You can't verify yourself using ICICI debit card at paypal. You need a valid credit card for verification of indian paypal account.

    Hi

    PayPal don't accept debit cards until unless they have visa or master logo on that and that too few specific banks. You can use credit card ti verify your account.

    I wonder about this same question every now and then....Indian debit cards are not allowed to verify paypal account, You must have a real credit card issued by a Bank itself.

    I have visa logo on mine debit card of ICICI debit card but then also its not accepting its problem for Indians i think so.

    not all debit card including with mastercard logo accept by paypal.
    for me i just create a vcc and verified it and it's done.no more headache:D

    Use the hdfc visa debt card. it was working when i verified my paypal 2 yrs ago. Dunno if its still.

    I have City Union Bank Visa Debit Card will that work?
    I wanted to know if I verify using it and if it fails will PP impose any kind of restriction like limiting my account?

    It is because if paypal finds that you have used vcc to verify your paypal then they will limit your account. It has been mentioned in their TOS.

    I too have tried my ICICI debit card 4 yrs back , but ended up with failure stating that "Your card provider does'nt allow verification ".... sort of stuff.

    So I got it verified through HSBC & then HDFC CC.

    Better to use CC than Debit cards.
