    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

We (at least I) may be recovering from last week's horrible YPN daily stats

Alexa ranking? Yes, I am sure that YPN would use the most easily manipulated ranking system ever designed to determine RPC. Whenever I hear anything about somebody's Alexa Ranking I want to puke, it is the most meaningless info when it comes down to the REAL popularity of a website.

I am sure that if YPN was adjusting RPC for each publisher they would be using their own data that they have been collecting.

I never thought I would be doing this, but I may be moving some more of my ads back to AdSense, maybe more if something doesn't change fast !

My YPN is falling even more, RPC, Revenue etc........ truly horible - 4 sites and lots of traffic, total revenue yesterday from all 4 combined UNDER $8.00 with YPN, I am struggling now to get above 9 cents RPC with YPN

Do you all think this is just a August (summer) curse, and things will rise a lot after schools start (Sep 5 here) ? Or has YPN just been out so long that it now leveled off to where rates (RPC) will probably stay ?

I am seeing a slight increase in the RPC yesterday. Hope it gets to normal soon. Still the ad targeting is a problem..:(

YPN has moved towards more "normal" levels. Yahoo has stopped or cut it's "promotional pricing". While I would certainly like to see a return to how it used to be, there really isn't any reason to expect advertisers to pay a vast premium over the same ad with adsense.

While August is slow, it isn't what would cause such a drastic drop in RPC. Traffic should increase next month, but RPC isn't likely to increase unless Yahoo does something to attract a lot more advertisers. I don't think this is likely and hope the RPC doesn't continue to drop.

It all depends on the advertisers. Why not run whichever program is paying more? I've moved several sites back to adsense because YPN is now paying less per click AND YPN's CTR has always been lower (due to lack of advertisers/and ad targeting).

I am thinking of moving to adsense too. RPC is LOW as hell, CRTR is LOW as hell, and targetting is OFF as hell. :(

August is a slow month. Spending may kick up on september when school starts and the holliday season begins.
