How would this effect my site?

    Hi everyone

    If I redirect my homepage to another site, which is also installed in subdirectory of my homepage, how would this effect regards to Indexing, Sandbox, SEO etc.

    I want to redirect internethow.com to internethow.com/blog

    The homepage was a directory, however I want to use the domain only for my blog, which is installed in the subdirectory.

    Or, if you could give me any suggestion that would me appriciated.

    If you use a 301 redirect you should be fine and your SERP's, in theory, shouldn't be affected.

    A 301 redirect is best practise to do so..
