The simple reason why most affiliate marketers fail to make money online,is because of lack of understanding of the trade. Which is why most give up and call it a scam.Afiliate marketing is the number one way for aspiring internet entrepreneurs to get started. It is a lucrative way of earning passive income online if you have knowledge and understanding on how things are done. The trick to succeeding online is when you understand the market selection process. This is one thing you have to master if you really want to be successful as an affiliate marketer. Your ability to figure out a profitable killer product in your market is the engine to your online success while traffic is the fuel that will keep it going. If you want to earn HUGE affiliate commission, there are some critical factors to consider when choosing a product to promote. This factors are often reveald by the merchants of the product you want to promote. 1 Attention Grabbing Headline. The number one thing you should look out for in a product before promoting it is the sales copy. Sales copy are mean't to sell, they do the pre-selling for you prompting your visitor to take action. Therefore when choosing a product to promote always look out for the sales copy. It should have attention grabbing headlines which most force the reader to take notice and read through the rest of the ad copy. Also it should be loaded with information that is of interest to your readers showing them the benefit they will gain if they purchase the product. It should be full of action words that persuade the reader to either order for the product or requesting for further information. 2 Gravity Number. Another factor to consider when choosing a product is the gravity number. A product with higher gravity number is proven to turn you into an instant millionaire. Why? Because, higher gravity number indicate how well the product is converting for the dedicated affiliates that are promoting it. The higher the gravity number of a product, the better it is. Choose a product with gravity number that is not less than 100. 3 Information Choose a product with less index free information when searched for in Google. People will not buy what they can get for nothing. What do I mean? Let say you are into a weight loss niche and type "weight loss tips" into Google and the first thing you see is an extensive step by step system to lose weight that is free. I bet with you people will rather make use of that information than buy your product especially in this recession period when people are afraid to lose money. But if however, there isn't a whole of free information but enough for you to research and get information for free articles and other advertisement you probably found a good product to make market. 4 Affiliate Resources This is another factor most marketers often overlook when choosing a product to promote. A product with affiliate resources like banners, pictures, articles, text link ads is a good product to promote. This resources are provided by the merchant of the product for the use of the affiliate and it often contains the benefits of the product.
I found a few articles similiar to this one by searching google. For example look at this one http://ezinearticles.com/?5-Simple-...arketers-Fail-to-Make-Money-Online&id=2973495 I'm guessing you did not write this article but modified it a little.
well, just like with any business, you have to pick the right affiliate program and have a lot of traffic ...
I disagree. Obviously yes this is a reason but IMO lack of understanding is not the reason most fail. Many who try to get in to the affiliate marketing industry get stuck in to 'learn mode.' Believing there is a golden nugget of information out there that will open the financial flood gates. They end up buying every crappy ebook that that is put out by novices which won't help. There is PLENTY of information out on the internet for free that if followed would make you comfortably wealthy. If the money was spent on buying some traffic, and sending it to ANY type of offer and then taking a step back and seeing what happened. Did you loose money, if so why? Were people not clicking through to get to your landing page? If so, tweak your ad copy, were they not converting once they made it to your LP? Tweak your LP. Keep doing this until you're profitable for that campaign. Scale up, send more traffic. Wash, rinse and repeat. You will learn by leaps and bound by just TRYING what you've learned.
Perseverance is also very important. If you don't understand how to research your market and you don't follow through you won't make it. Most people are too quick to give up. When I first started out I had a background in nutrition and weight loss. I figured it would be easy for me. Man was I wrong. I later learned that knowledge and perseverance were the most important factors to making money online.
