I've personally spent a bit of money with Submit Edge in the past, and have recommended countless more customers to them (I'm a web designer and own a signage company). However they've just lifted me for some Article Submissions which they haven't done First I check the email account and only 280ish activiation emails even though I was apparently "submitted" to 500 article directories, I ask and they say some don't require activation. Ok no problem - I go on and check a random selection of the activated accounts I have knowledge of and they haven't even submitted my (prewritten) articles to them either! 18 backlinks from 500 submissions is NOT what I call value for money, so it's time to move elsewhere, I told them, and gave them chance to rectify their mistake and nothing. I have a couple of customers with $1000+ budgets set aside for link building and marketing and I am now having to postpone this until I find either a good company, or take on staff to do it in-house Anyone know any good companies? (No email me and I'll do it's, I want a proper company with a website ordering facility / reports / email accounts made so I can check) Or is there any tools available to speed up manual submission whilst I employee someone to do it in house? (e.g. faster ways of copy and pasting each bit of information into the relevant boxes, lists of article directories, normal directories and social bookmarking sites etc) Regards, Kyle
You say you previously recommended them, did they live upto your expectations then? I have personally never used them before but could it be some sort of a bug they should be notified about for rectification? Or are they reluctant to help?
I have used them for about a year now (either directly with my own account or via individual clients accounts). Up until now they have provided an excellent service, however I'm now faced with having to explain to my client why the link building he has paid for hasn't been completed, and having to pay out of my own pocket for it to be done again by someone else (or in house). I've told them, and given them chance to rectify the mistake, so nobody can't say I haven't been fair and given them a chance, so it's time to move on to someone else as far as I'm concerned, I'm sure there's plenty of companies out there who want my money?
Sounds interesting - in reality im struggling to understand what when on - im guessing you paid in advance for your articles to go out to quality resources... but they havent appeared in your backlinks... it can take quite some time for articles to appear in backlinks, and if they are duplicate content then i imagine thats why they havent been accepted across the board... But it always seems the case with these - we submit you to 2k directories and that - they might claim they do but in reality you'll get 2-3 links out of it... I guess as the saying goes - you get what you pay for - there are some great artcile submissions services out there but they tend to be costly... personally ive only ever used one i can trust - PM me for the details (if you want) Have you paid via paypal? - is it within the 3 months? - if they havvent done what they said they were going to do - withdraw your payment...? Best of luck DCx
I'm fully aware of the timescales it can take etc, it's my profession after all They just haven't submitted them, I've logged onto the article sites themselves and checked the accounts they've setup to see if there is any pending etc I'll PM you now, thanks
@Kye: First off, 280 activation emails from 500 submissions from article directories doesn't really sound bad. There are many article directories that don't even require a login and many won't send activation emails either. About 18 links from 500 submissions, it's possible that the articles get rejected. Many article directory owners also delete the submissions (instead of simply marking them as rejected). As a service provider, it has happened with me as well where I have personally submitted some articles (not one of my hired operators), and the next day I can't see the article in the directory. I do hope SE will provide you better customer service. Disclaimer: I don't work for SubmitEdge, at best I can be classified as their competitor. I am trying to put forward a service provider's point of view in this thread.
I was happy with the work they did for me earlier in the year. I hope they can make things right for you. Please keep us updated.
