Curious all you seo gurus, how many keywords should i list in my all in one seo pack on my wp site ? 5 ? 10 ?

I usually put 3-5 keywords per page. I think that's a realistic number of target keywords. Stuffing your tags with too much keywords wouldn't do any good.

 

Do not overstuff keywords in one page. It is better to spread your main keywords over the pages of your website. Then use the much general tags/keywords in pair of your main keywords.

 

Thanks, so im going to choose 4 keywords, i should have them in all my content on my site ?, put them in my articles on my site ? and spread them througout .


UPDATE, 10 is to many keywords.

 

5 would be better in my opinion.

per page 2 keyword is good justification to get best rank

 

for single page i suggest you target 4-5 keyword is good!!!

 

Dont exceed 5 keyword per page. It would be the right limit.

 

2-3 keywords per page to keep it laser targetted.

 

Meta tags is very important in onpage optimization because it appears on search result. The length of your titles should not exceed 65 characters including the spaces. Good keyword density is between 3 - 7%. * The title tags should be between 10-60 characters or 3 keywords. No single word should appear more than twice, or it may be considered spam.

 

lol that's horrible advice. Good optimisation should be more like 1% keyword density and you can comfortably have 7-8 words in the title tag without diluting it too much. The title tag should be good for seo AND encouraging clicks, you can hardly do that with 3 words!

 

i think 4 is the best and have no problem at all
