First of all it's not short term process, its need hard work and patient, there is no such way to get first page with in very short period. You need to link building using your keywords you can do these by Web Directory submission, social Bookmarking, article submission, blog comment, forum posting

Not to bombard you; keyword research to identify your long tail keywords followed by properly optimizing your "content-rich" site and an aggressive link-building campaign would be your initial steps to ranking high in the SERP's. From there you can move onto other things..

No, because most of what he advocates sucks harder than trying to swallow a carton full of rotten eggs. This on the other hand will teach you how to get real links -- links that most people will never get. :D

Not just the long-tail keywords, but also those primary and secondary search phrases that many SEOs and Web site owners ignore which people use every day.

It pains me to see this thread. What you need is a good SEO.

NOT the million $10 services that are being suggested here. In the hands of a good SEO, some of those things can definitely produce results, but to try to do it on your own without any knowledge of how you want it done is almost a surefire way to throw away money. AND it has the added problem of sometimes causing problems which are difficult to fix later. Very often, SEO is not about buying a million chachkey services at $3-$10 each, but rather identifying WHY a site is not moving up. It's different for every site and at different time periods, but THAT is why you need a professional. Anyone can buy a service for $10.

    Right on brother!

Becoming good at SEO - I mean a professional level takes a lot of time, effort, study and testing. There are a handful of good SEOs on this forum giving out some powerful info for free (too bad about the majority of morons) but to engage their full services will cost.

    Cheap SEO is not good.
    Good SEO is not cheap

If you want #1 ranking you need to be willing to invest the money in a professional SEO or invest the time in learning to become pro quality yourself.

Simply asking to be made #1 on a public forum is an exercise in futility.

Yes, I completely agree. One should be able to identify the complete hierarchy of keywords; primary, secondary, long-tail, misspellings, etc.

As stated I just didn't want to bombard him ;)

It really doesn't matter how many backlinks you grab, this site isn't coded right. You need on-site SEO (Google it)!!!

You also can remove lots of code & place in exterior pages
NO DOCTYPE - big screw up!
Likely LOADS of errors for standards compliance.

You need a pro to correct this.
