    The problem is that google is littered with sites that are affiliates rather than genuine review sites.

    What does genuine review site mean? All review sites do use affiliates (including your site has affiliates). However on top of my mind you can perhaps check cNET reviews, but again depends on which products you need reviews. You could also check techcrunch.
