I Think every site which provide a Dofollow Backlink is Usefull because Backlink is a Backlink but having different weight Page by Page.
This is a great list but wanted to include http://aawebmasters.com page rank 6, great for seo. Auto approval.No email needed but duplicate content will be deleted and flagged

some of the article directories here are rip-offs - the article links are nofollow or redirected. So be sure to check through SEVERAL articles before signing up. Sometimes these directories have some articles that are dofollow to trick people to submit.

submit to ezine first. Once approved submit to the other sites. If you dont do this ezine will ban your article as it is not origianl content. another thing i do that REALLY helps is to write an article, get it approved by Ezine and before i sumbit to the other sites (i only do the top 3) i re-write the first paragraph for each of the other 2 sites. this helped me get 1 article ranked #3 and 4. same article different directory
