I have certain ads(not my website) that are getting indexed between the 3rd and 10th page of google. This is what I did: I found targeted keywords and posted them in the title of my online classified ads. I am posting my ads on free and paid classified websites. It's that simple.
that does get you indexed, but 3rd-10th page is not that good at all. I have 3rd listing in the search results with very little promotion. I posted on a couple comments (maybe 10 tops) on related blogs that use keyword luv that way you have your keywords linking to your site. I still think the fastest way to get indexed is to search your domain name in google. You can also do a search like "google.com search engine". When you search for a domain thats not indexed google figures you wouldnt search a domain that 1 doesn't exist and 2 it means you like that website. I search my domain names from several different computers weekly.
I have not really explored classified ads much I mainly stick to guest blogging, blogging, article submission, and so on. Would you give a list of the classified ad sites you used in this campaign?
I have never had much luck when it came to classified ads but it could be due to the niche market I was attempting to promote at the time.
Nice thread, I have done that too and it does work! I especially like targeting long-tailed keywords.
Well, you did a good job.But when the competition is drastic, maybe you have to devote more time and energy to get more traffic.Other ways such as posting in the forums or even ppc can be used to promote your website.
If you are third and tenth page start searching for better keywords. They sound too competitive. If their not start baclinking asap!
I've tried this too. Only form two computers, but the concept makes sense to me. It doesn't seem to have worked though. However, I have other issues that could be the problem.
