Hi, I"ve been searching and can't seem to find a plugin or hack for this. I want to allow users to log into the WP login area and create a post, however I would like to approve it (so it would go int pending) but I can't figure out how. I searched on WP site all day today... Any help greatly appreciated
Do you want all of your users allowed to do that or only for certain users? If for all, you can change New User Default Role to "Contributor" under General Settings in your Wordpress admin panel. If you want only certain users able to do that, you need to manually edit your users by changing their role also to "Contributor". Don't set them as an Author because they can publish their post without your approval. - Dynashox -
