I haven't yet made a sale. So I want to put the voucher to good use. Which product should I promote? Which country should I target? I don't want to choose an expensive keyword as it would empty my adword credit. Further, I tried promoting a product through adwords but adwords refused to accept the ad saying that my "destination link gets redirected to other site". What to do? How do you get around this?
I would wait a little bit, and than around the end of November start promoting Homebreware. Around that time more consoles will be sold, and more people would be interested in something like this. The product doesn't have too much competition, but it converts well from personal experience. I would target USA mainly with only 50$. Do you have a landing page, or you are trying to send the traffic through with your hoplink? For me at least PPC always goes with landing page, optimize your landing page first so you would get good rating.
I think you should target USA and Australia market. Its usually dependent on the type of product you promoting.
Phone Number Scan is really great product. It allows people to reverse search a phone number (find out the name and address of phone number). Yes it is my product. Check it out. Id be happy you help you out. Just search 'Phone Scan' in the marketplace and you'll get it. =)
Or look for a product you might already have been interested in/wanting to buy. That way, you understand what makes your customer tick and that just means easier sales.
If it's the voucher i think you're talking about you do infact have to make regular bids also and not just use the voucher and no more. Look for a product with farely high gravity and a good sales pitch, it would help to know the convertion rates of the sales pitch of the product. Get hold of the owner and see if they can offer you the figures, if your promoting their product im sure they wouldn't mind as they have another person promoting their product. All the best.
Put the hosting url 'domain' in the display field, and put your encoded HopLink in the destination field. A bunch of folks will say that this won't work, but it does. John
