    Clicking download on some of the themes takes you to two different sites before you can download it. Are these themes legal or copied/stolen?

There is no stealing or coping themes. I also have made some free theme dedicated to this site you can view them all at Free premium wordpress theme page in the navigation. Some of mine are located here.
