I'm sure you've done a hell of a lot of work to earn that revenue. PPC has always worked, you just need to know how to properly use it.

    Hey Yuogo,

I like your logo man :)

Yes it was initial hard work, but then I started writing down each step and making notes as to what to merchants to pick, how to test each offer, when to create landing pages etc etc. and now its down to a science.

    Hi,

Landing pages is the site that you drive traffic to. So if you are doing pure affiliate marketing and do NOT have your own product... you need to create landing pages for the merchant (the product owner).

In you case, you can have ad images on your site from autos or digital photo sites. For example in autos category, you can pick a few CPA merchant that pay you for every lead if someone is interested in getting an auto insurance quote or a new car quote.

For photosharing, you can have digital picture development such as kodak etc on your site which already exists on CJ.

    Hey Sajnish.

Great video. I'd like to ask you a few questions that relate to what happens after the video.

So you set up the campaign with a whole bunch of keywords that you are unsure if they will work.

How long do you leave it active before making changes?
What kind of changes do you make / look to make?
When do you call it quits with a merchant that doesn't convert?

Again, I'm sure I'm not the only one that appreciates your help! Thanks a lot.

    Hey,

That is the reason I set them up the way I show it in my video -- that I have the control which ones are working for me which are loosing me money.

I'm quite risk averse so if I have spent $5 (generally) on that keyword and it has not made any money I pause it. Now this depends on various factors.. what's the payout of the merchant, how many total keywords I have in my adgroup, and what can I additionally do to make that keyword profitable. For instance there are situations when a keyword is breaking-even or a bit in red, then I go back and check if I can add negatives to that adgroup, or I need to change the match phrase.

For me calling it quits for that merchant depends on the total payout or $25 which ever is lower. There are tons of merchants out there and if this one is not going to make me money, others will. The trick is to send highly targeted traffic otherwise you'll blow this budget too many times.
