Your vps control panel may offer the option to rebuild the system and add webmin (centros-webmin). Else you will have to do a manual install.

Does anyone know if YUM can install webmin?

One you have that running you can install apache, mysql and ftp and most everything else you will need except PHP from the webmin control panel. YUM can install PHP.

    Ask questions.

A control panel can cost more than the VPS. Webmin is open source and free. If you are not planning to sell hosting, it will do everything you need.

Honestly, if you don't know what you are doing, I would recommend getting a managed host that will install a control panel for you.

I dont know if u already know this, but without a control panel, u gotta SSH the VPS. Google SSH commands, use PuTTy (yea google it) for SSH and webmin has easy to do instructions on how to install it using SSH

You may have noted that Webmin is installed by many VPS hosts for free.

Have to admit that even if you have instructions on how to do it, I would rather have the host install anything like a Control Panel. Who know if they've changed directories or have settings in place that will conflict with the installation or the running of such software.

Plus they're probably (hopefully?) experienced in installing it anyway. Take 10 minutes for them instead of hours for you.

Actually it takes about 2 minutes to install the OS and webmin from your VPS control panel if that is an option.

I mentioned that several posts up.

And if the host has made changes, it'll take a lot longer than 2 minutes.

Instead of pointing out what you've said, why not read the input made by others? Some of us do servers for a living.

I must be missing something. I really don't understand what you are saying here:

If it wipes and completely reinstalls the OS and webmin and it works, how can there be a problem?

    Two Choices

Choice #1 - > Buy Plesk or CPanel and install it
Choice #2 - > try to do it your self just make sure u do it right so you dont get hacked

And choice #3, i have not TRIED it yet but it looks promising
    open panel/
