    A couple of my sites are getting hit by a spider called internetserviceteam.com, Does anyone know what this is? It looks like it's hitting a lot of sites, but I have not found any info to allow me to determine if it is a good or a bad spider.

    I found the following visits in my stats for December:

    84-16-252-115.internetserviceteam.com
    84-16-252-116.internetserviceteam.com
    84-16-252-117.internetserviceteam.com
    84-16-252-118.internetserviceteam.com
    89-149-194-210.internetserviceteam.com
    89-149-210-26.internetserviceteam.com

    The home page for InternetServiceTeam.com is blank, so the I supect that this is not a good spider.

    I get a lot of spam from them. I suspect that they are one of the outfits collecting email addresses off of web pages to generate lists of targets that they sell to spammers.

    Same here!

    I have very good human verification steps when registering.
    But somehow these bots still manage to register,
    and it seems like a human is doing it because it even inserts all the Skype and contact info from usercp.

    Any idea on what we should do?

    Guys internetserviceteam.com is a domain used by one of the datacenters in Germany.

    I do resell from them so I know, if you have the IP that is actually attacking or harming you please let me know and I will try my best to get them shutdown.

    Hi Dynaceron.
    I seen your post about internetserviceteam.com.
    Please could you offer me advice on how to stop IP attacks I'm getting.
    My MalwareBytes I.P Protection is stopping at least 10-20 attacks per day from an I.P address which I Googled and found out to be registered to "internetserviceteam.com"
    The IP being blocked is: 89.149.236.77

    I just wonder what they're up to and why they're doing it in the first place (?)
    I've re-installed twice so know it isn't a rogue software programe as it's doing the same from a clean install.
    Thanks for any help guy(s) :)

    These guys ate up all the space on two phpBB forums. Must be a glitch in the captcha check as they could auto submit a huge amount of you guessed it.. pr0n.

    If you are running on Apache, you may be able to block anything having to do with internetserviceteam.com altogether in your .htaccess file (located in your root directory);

    <Limit GET HEAD POST>
    deny from internetserviceteam.com
    allow from all
    </LIMIT>
