    Is comiision Juntion Real?

    i mean the CJ Statistics are real? how do i know they are not manipulating the info? i think my statistics make no sence... how can i know they are not cheating me?

    They're real. I've personally NEVER had a problem with them. Paying on time, good statistics that match my click data, etc...

    Who cheat you ? CJ ? In this case i just tell you CJ is real and they don't care some $ of you -> lost time to cheat you

    I've worked on the advertiser side. CJ does not cheat affiliates.

    CJ makes a cut (up to 30%) on top of the commissions that are paid to affiliates. If the affiliate isn't paid, CJ doesn't make money.

    Advertisers can see the exact commissions paid to each affiliate - it ALWAYS equals the amount that is paid to the affiliate, CJ doesn't manipulate numbers. CJ is audited by third-party firms (CJ is part of ValueClick, a publicly traded company), so you don't have to worry about commissions being stolen by CJ.

    tvmatt, thanks for the great info. I wondered what % CJ made.... They must just be RAKING in the cash. I should buy some shares in valueclick.... the better I do the better they do! lol.

    Some affiliate networks do shave sales but I do not believe that CJ is one of them. They are one of the more reputable affiliate companies out there hence the reason everyone uses them

    CJ makes 30%, not of the retail sale but of whatever amount the merchant pays out in commission. So again the more money affiliates make, the more money CJ makes, so they are not incentivized to cheat affiliates out of commission - just the opposite.

    CPA networks earn money differently so that's why some affiliates think some CPA networks shave. If an advertiser pays a CPA network $30, they may pay affiliates $20 out of that. But if they shave and pay the affiliate $0 then they get to keep the full $30. So CPA networks are paid differently than affiliate networks are.

    I've worked with CJ for about five years, and find them a pleasure to work with. I find it very hard to believe they'd shave anything from publisher payments.

    I like to study my visitor behavior, and track things like which pages convert well, search phrases visitors come to those pages, etc. So here are two things that I do to better track clicks:

    1) set up Google Analytics on your site, if you haven't already done so. Then setup an onClick event with your CJ Links, like this:

    And configure that event as a goal. There's a decent write up in the Analytics help section about it.

    2) Another method to track clicks is to use an iframe page instead of linking directly to CJ. Then use Google Analytics or any other tracking script to monitor how many times users visit that page. To do this, create your CJ link, something like this:

    create a new page on your site and put the href value from the cj link in an <iframe on that page. Something like this:

    When visitors click your CJ link, it will look the same to them. CJ will record the same information, but you'll have a record of all the clicks, at least.

    To test conversions, test it yourself. Click one of your own links and convert, wait three or four hours. If it doesn't show up, contact your CJ Account Rep immediately and let them know.

    cj is the oldest affilaite netwok i can't even think that they will cheat anybody.

    lol... if they're not real, then all the advertisers on the cj fake too? they have more than 1000+ adverts over there... :D, beside it.. i've been paid by them.
