    there is no exact way through which we can define their way of working..

    Nobody can tell you that. In old times it was once in three months and now for last 6 months there is no update.

    As has already been said, no-one knows except Google.

    I have a hunch that Caffeine Update and PR update could happen at the same time though... but only time will tell. :)

    I've been comparing the latest Google PR-updates, and they seemed to occur with 3 months inbetween... but I could be wrong!

    Don't worry about PR so much. Work on your SERPs instead.

    PR is updated constantly but the data available to the public is only updated every couple of months. There's no real fixed schedule.

    They use to update on a quarterly schedule, but last go round they did 2 updates back to back and now they are over the 3 months schedule they use to run on, so its anyone's guess when the next update will be.

    Some people say PR updates every three months,some say every a quater.I think it used to be so,but nowadays only Google knows exactly the date.

    no one knows the exact answer but you can do something that make quality backlinks from high pagerank website it will help you to get high page rank.....

    I also waiting for that but nobody can predicts Google's plan..

    But i heard that Google will update PR by end of this year. By January 2010, it might have completed one PR update. So u can expect next PR update by next month or December..
