Why my traffic decrease today?

    Today I am surprised that my traffic decrease tremendously. Afterall my blog is top ten for keyword "legitimate work at home jobs" and daily search volume of the keyword as per SEO keyword suggestion tool is almost 250 and I only get 3 to 4 visitors today for for that keyword. I also get low traffic from other referral source. What is the reason, Please help me?

    You are ranking #24 according to my actual search. Very few people go past the first 10 results, and even if you were ranked #10, the average CTR for a #10 ranking is 3%. That means if 250 people perform that exact search, a #10 ranking can only expect 3% to actually click and visit your site. That would be about 7 or 8 visitors a day.

    To me it appears that google's serp keeps changing frequently, and not consistent or steady. Maybe they are messing with something. Hopefully that is the case for you and you recover some traffic. I watched one of my links go up, then down, then back up in about 1-2 hours time this evening. Which I normally don't see such it do that in such short amount of time.

    if not, may be the search volume was low that day.

    I think there were errors in google analytics or they maintained system . My website traffic was low suddenly in the day before yesterday and yesterday ,it went up tremendously . Check the statistic for today .

    That's strange.. lots of people complaining that the traffic is decreasing from past few days.. but my traffic almost tripled from last week. :eek:

    Not much change in our side, and this is a big drop of traffic, check the position of the keyword. and veryfy the drop of keywords in SERP

    Build more backlinks from sites with high pagerank, and add more keyword rich articles on a regular basis, so your site is constantly updated. :)
