48 Hour Eco Logo Contest - $50 first, $25 second. - Paypal

Hi All,

Here I have another logo contest for you got a great response to the last one and I'm hoping for more of the same, two more logos and two website comps to come. What I’m looking for here is 3d metallic or chromium badge type logo the design is pretty much already done. This is for an idea for a hydrogen system to save fuel. H2 is the symbol for hydrogen the arrow pointing downward represents this and water being pumped to a combustion engine to make gains in fuel. The background must be a rich blue colour or have water bubbles in it to represent water. The little dots on the H are to represent bolts or something mechanical that connect the plates of the unit. The shadow underneath is supposed to be a reflection.

So there you have it lets see what DP designers can come up with, as with my other contests there might be more than one winner on this one so while its ok to turn this draft drawing into a striking 3D version. Feel free to give me your intrpretation of it, does it have to round? can it be quare? - You've got the basics and the important parts it can look like you think is best, don’t let anything stop you from making it look different or much better!!

This is a small start-up but we want to make it look professional right from the off, this will be used for t-shirts and other marketing material but remember it will (in the main be the company logo) or form part of the logo.

For the "WINNER" we possibly will do another version or something that looks similar so the winnings could go up another $50. Plus for any designer who takes part there is up to $400 for the website!!

· Artwork must be "ORIGINAL" You must create the design yourself
· You must not use any images you do not have the right to use
. Need all the files, gif, jpg, png, psd, tif, whatever they have to be vector so resizing is not an issue
· If your design is chosen you agree to give me full rights to your design and you agree that you will not use this design again.


This LOGO DESIGN CONTEST will run for a max of 48hrs, One person can submit as many entries as he or she wants.

Hope I get some great designs as I have clients who want a lot more work for various projects.
Winner gets $50 Paypal and dependent on the quality of entries there could be a $25 runner-up prize. Please post entries here.

Hi All,

These are Ok but I'm trying to really get that chromium effect throughout, renderwork yours is the nearest to the orginal drawing but I want the 2 to be a contiuation on the leg on the H not just placed over, also the outer ring has to have the chromium effect too. Aslo the water looks like stars and there are (too many) bolts best to look back at the drawing everyone.

I guess everyone has got to take their lead from renderworks as thats the nearest?

I was hoping for different designs on the brief but a copy of the original drawing is good, however if thats what it is then its got to be a 100% 3D chromium vector copy with both a water bubble background and a rich blue metallic background to compare!

Remember the winner of this contest will only have to tweak a few things to double their money and possibly desigm the actual site??

Crowquill has got it right as far as the 2 being more part of the leg of the H but this example is too cartoony, I’m looking for it to look shiny (like metal)

Renderworks you’ve still not got the outer rim shiny, this latest one is too arty and too hard to make out what it actually means.

Zyndtel yours is good too but I want this logo to really shine like it actually IS METAL.

Shizzie yours is ok too but theyre all missing the metal look I need.

I’m going to extend this contest till Monday.
