I'm a small fan of RC Toys. I have an RC F22 Raptor, but I haven't used it in a while.

Dude that's a sweet RC car. I used to have 2 cars one was an off-road something that I bashed into a rock. The other was a Viper (when viper's first came out) it was so sweet until I hit a sewer grate and smashed the wheel off and couldn't find the replacement part.

Anyway, what's those things cost now-a-days anyway?

yeah,... this one is a electric,.... a brushless electric,... not a techie myself, but from what i read on the net,... brushless rocks! ... less maintainence, more power, and long life! (vs the brushed motor)

I used to be huge into RC cars, I had a duratrax evader stadium truck, and I was going to get a traxxas rustler but then lost the motivation, was sick of spending the money fixing things cause i would always ramp the things way to high and over use them.

yeah.... about stuff breaking.... the reason i stopped myself from flying choppers and came down to cars... perhaps stuff would break less here,... and perhaps the only things that break would be car parts themselves. :p

I used to own a HPI RS4, Tamiya Mini Cooper, and a few offroad buggies, all electric. The hobby is just so expensive though so I eventually gave it up. I actually raced the Mini Cooper at an indoor track one time. I had a corvette shell on the HPI it looked hot and the car was quick!

Out of curiosity did you have to put this one together?

I remember my first one took soooo long to put together because I wanted it to be perfect adn after realized that I spent 1 month of building rather than driving... lol

    RC woohoo!

I'm an RC nutcase too :) Electric all the way.

I'm into micro scale cars (1:28ish/Mini-Z especially), and electric planes. I've got a room full of RC junk.

I've collected an embarrassing amount of Kyosho Z stuff, misc Mini-T/Micro-T stuff... and a (big) handful of planes.

@ msolution - I hope you've got deep pockets. The RC bug bites hard and never lets go :D You've got into it at a good time too. Things are cheaper than they've ever been. Check out hobbyking.com for batteries, chargers, misc electronics etc. they've got insanely good prices.
