I want to know the process how to start and find backlinks, i am looking for finance related backlinks ? if you can give me names that plus (even paid backlinks) but even if not then tell me how to find these? should i had to find finace website and ask the webmaset or the person running website that whether they offer backlinks and what type and in which place etc. Also want to know little bit about this what is footer or side bar back links? and what are the other type availble other than these? are other type more useful?

Backlinks are the links that already points back to a website and if you need to know the back links then first you need to search for finance related sites and then you can figure out the back links for those sites. Searching for link:domainname.com is good to get an idea.
Use http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com to find out where your competitors are getting back links from and try to get the same ones.
Agreed this is a good way to find competitors backlinks and see which ones you can use as well. Other ways are finding related blogs, ideally do follow
head to google and type in backlinks, there is a tool called backlink watcher, follow the links and post.
hi dear, if you want to find finance related backlinks then take keywords related to finance then link loan,finance etc search in google by typing finance + links so will wind many websites then send then mail to then for link exchange but u have to give backlinks to then on your or any other website then they will add your link and other way you link exchange link in gmail with webmasters. footer link are refer when the webmaster put your link in website in end we can say in footer or after all content and side bar link but links in blogroll or in side of website. and there is content link also.
