Firefox affected by Trojan

People that are using Firefox should be more careful since a new trojan was able to invade Firefox. Never install anything that is labeled “Adobe Flash Player 0.2″ in your Firefox. This add-on looks legit at first glance so you should be more careful on what add-on you are adding in your firefox.

Kinda doubt I'd ever install Flash Player 0.2, being that we're now up to, what, version 11.0?

I thought firefox was the safest one and most of the time I use ff. Have to be careful before installing any ad ons. Hope the firefox team will be working overtime to rectify the defect.

I agree, a lot of people are using FF because it's one of the safest but no longer this time since a trojan was able to invade it. Even this happened to FF, i'll still be using it because FF addons really helped me to work faster and i'm sure the FF team will be able to solve this problem soon.

Does this Trojan only affect Firefox? Or is it OS dependent?

Check your firefox extensions if you have "Adobe Flash Player 0.2" (take note, only the 0.2).
