Facebook Group 50,000 members

What is the best way to message there members to come onto my website?

Any tips or tricks?

 

Just make new group post and most people will see it. Or start PMing them ;P

 

You can message all members if a group have more than 5,000 members, So as from your thread title I think you want to send message all the members where there are 50,000 members,so it is not possible

Are you saying that you FB group has 50k members ?
Just curious, how have you managed that, but not the simple communication functions of the group itself ?
I don't get it. A group of that size required some marketing and work to get it to grow, yet you are asking basic marketing and promotion questions. Doesn't make sense.

The group is for Michael Jackson, so it wasnt too hard to market to be quite honest, but i need to know how to get the best results from group members

 

^ problem is now You can't send all of them message,if it were a page then it could be a great to use,now only one thing you can do is make some event and make them invite

 

I think post whatever new happens to your website, People ain't link PM's stuff.

I think there is a button that says send message to group members.. didn't you see that?

 

But 50K is freakin awesome numbers... mine is only at 75

 

We operate several groups around 50K and a select few over 100K.

The right topic, the right content and the right time means you can achieve this in a matter of a few months.

Given that groups doesn't allow you to send messages once above 5K, you can only use passive marketing methods:

Change the image to include a message
Update links
Post a wall post
Post a discussion thread

 

My facebook fan page from my website has 1.5 million fans/members right now. I use it on a daily basis to promote website activity. You can build your fan page/groups up without paying a penny with a little hard work and thinking outside of the box. It is a priceless marketing tool to me.

thats great idea ive been using groups and i have 4 accounts maxed out with 5k friends

 

Yes, we do have more fans than Madonna, and victoria secret pink and Jim Carrey and even Fresh Prince of Bel Air lol. It is a priceless marketing tool for our entertainment site. We are currently ranked 176 in facebook fan pages. It can be acheived. The one thing that I will say is "whats in a name?" PM me if you have any questions.
