Linkdiagnosis.com was great until the new launch - it now returns even less data than before, which imho makes it borderline useless. Caphyon, Webmaster Tools and Yahoo Site Explorer are your best bet for anything useful.
You really need to use a couple and then work out an average aggregate them and you'll have a streamlined picture of your links
Well, personally speaking, I'm using three sites: http://backlinkwatch.com http://www.marketleap.com/ http://www.smartpagerank.com/ They are Ok. Check it out to see if you like them.
Is anyone aure that using link:website name shows all the backlinks.Even in google webmasters tools we can see all the links not shown in google search.
link command will explicitly return only a fraction of your links. It is giving 99% of the backlinks of a site when compare to other tools.
Google backlink you can check via :- link:yourdomain.com but for other search engine backlinks you must a good software.
As many suggested, checking from the search engine is good enough. If you really want a good one, here is one - backlink checker tool. Have been pretty good to me so far.
