lol, yeah the youth of today. I can't really say I obeyed my parents growing up. But they come from a different generation and would never accept recreational drug usage.
Yes, I obey my Parents. They scold me for my mistakes so that I realize the fact of life and don't make the same mistakes again.
i am not a perfect son, sometimes i obey them, sometimes not. but i always give my best to obey my parents
I am 55 years old and still blessed to have both of my parents. Of course they don't tell me what to do anymore, but I still respect their opinions. They are both very wise people and I get to tap into that wisdom all the time.
This has been a very interesting thread. I'm 41. Unfortunately I've lost both of my parents, my mum almost 20 years ago and my dad 10 years ago. I loved them both very much and did my best - but will admit that through my teenage years I was a 'difficult' child. I think the biggest lesson I've ever learned in the whole of my life is... you have NO IDEA how much your parents love you UNTIL you have children!! Think about it. Trust me. You are their world. Even when they are shouting at you, smacking you and telling you how disappointed they are with you. If you are still a teenager right now. Remember this posting. One day you will say... that nutter online, she was right. Go give your parents a hug right now I wish I could. Kisses Janie x
My parents are incredibly lenient, so they don't enforce any actual restrictions for me to obey. Not to say that they're bad parents; I'm just not a bad kid, so they have no reason to be strict.
