Yes just get some good links in with Good PR and watch out how many outgoing links you have. Also search for "SEO Link Wheel" And do that.
To get high PR say 5 as you want, means you should build quality backlinks from relevant sites. This is easy to say but very difficult to achieve as you can't do it yourself alone. What you can do is to create some good quality of contents that the people love to refer. It would take time but beside that all other ways will be quite expensive.
To achieve your goals I highly suggest adding content like a madman and utilizing all of the WordPress SEO plugins. SEO Title Tag, Headspace2 and the other plugins are imperative. where are you getting those articles translated? Google translate? they read very badly, like automated or something. and why are you obsessing over PR?
It's not going to happen quickly. You have a ton of original articles to write. After that, you need to link to those articles from all over the internet, specifically in places that pertain to what you wrote about. You need to make one article link to others that pertain, and try and get a cycle going throughout your articles. Comment on other blogs, post in forums, and continue with original, quality content until you achieve your goal. Again, it won't be easy at all, it'll likely take a long time.
