Is Yahoo Answers a good link development method

One of the best way of gaining link to any niche site would be Yahoo answers. I read several discussion here in digital point related to Yahoo answers. Today i logged into yahoo answers and found that yahoo answers currently use No follow relation. Would it be good to have incoming links from yahoo answers?

By a recent discussion by Matt Cutts it was also said that No follow links does index and follow the anchoring link. So what do you reckon would it be good enough to generate links from Yahoo answers?

Yahoo Answers can result in traffic, but you need to develop good quality answers that are not spammy in nature. You can't just link drop and expect it to work.

 

You just get traffic if you have good answers, maybe a bit more if your answer is chosen as best answer. But I don't know if new members can still post hyperlinks until they've reached a certain level.

 

Yahoo Answers is more for traffic than backlinks since it's nofollow.

"Nofollow" or not, I have numerous backlinks from Yahoo Answers listed in my Google Webmaster Tools.

 

its not for those who look for pr juice but yes its does help in increasing traffic!!

 

For ranking purposes? Nope. But they can bring you traffic. And if the answers are good enough, someone may even link to you from their site after reading it.

 

Also making sure you get in first with helpful comments that others link as well can result in some good linkbacks.

 

Really, read before and article says Google spider not indexing no follow links. And according to my experience its true. I added nofollow attribute to many links and not leak any link juice

I made a few extra yahoo accounts and added my link appropriatley not spamming yet they still gave me the boot. If you are thinking about setting up a yahoo answers account for marketing purposes make sure not to use your main account since when leaving a link 99% of the time they will ban you (at least that was my exeriance).

 

it stops to be nofollow once you get to sertain level i think level 2. it`s like hubpages

 

When you do a backlink checker on the any website you see in the answers, you will never see yahoo answers in the mix, it is only good to bring traffic into a website - most likely qualified traffic, so even if it doesn't help your clients rank, it can still get them sales by getting them to ask and answer questions.

A link is a link. It doesn't matter if it is nofollow. Google indexes them, gives them juice, and serp placement.

 

Yahoo answering is the best way to get traffic to a site.I have done Yahoo Answering for for many site's It But I only did for site's like Clothing and Electronics And that really work's.But the most important thing is that answer's have to be relevant No Spammy Answering.And you have to make people believe on what you are talking about that's all you have to do.Hope it will help.And 1 most important thing is now you have to reach to level 2 or 3 for to make your link hyper.Hope it will help.
