ioncube problem

    i am running a vps server with debian 4 and cpanel

    i tried to install whmcs and i get an error message saying that ioncube 5.2 needs to be installed..

    now i have tried ssh and downloaded the files and modified my php.ini file.. cannot get it to work this way

    so i then used that easy apache in cpanel and ticked the box so it installs ioncube but i keep getting the same error..

    is there anything you can sugest me to do??

    php is 5.2.11

    Hello,
    There is a easier way with cPanel Servers :)

    1) Log into the server as root.
    2) Run the following command.
    
 /scripts/phpextensionmgr install IonCubeLoader
