Hi, I am in search of finding a good services/scripts(whatever) to capture leads /email optins .However bit of googling gave me scripts that are crappy and useless with lot of webhosting troubleshooting. Can u guys suggest a option to capture leads/sign-ups ( for free reports) Any online services? any autoresponders ? (free/paid) Thanks in advance.
The best one IMO is Aweber. It has all the features that you could possibly be looking for. It requires double opt-in (good for CAN-SPAM compliance) and tracks the clicks on emails sent. Plus you can automate the emails being sent, etc... If you look around you'll see that the majority of email lists are build and sent with aweber. Take care, MailChimp doesn't allow these type of services, products or content: affiliate marketing, work at home schemes, MLM, etc. Check their ToS for more so that not to risk your account being closed.
also be ware that Mail Chimp doesn't make you do a double opt-in which means you have no real evidence that people want your service.... it's just something to be aware of in case people start complaining about your emails.
The industry leaders are getresponse and aweber - expensive but if you intend to take email marketing seriously (and you should), they are reputable choices. I use the lesser known UMC which is ideal for people who want both hosting as well as an autoresponder.
aweber is the best software you can use . Best way to get people to sign up to your newsletter is not call it a newsletter but offer something they want !!
Just checked aweber pricing ..seems to be expensive to start with...any affordable autoresponder services
if 19 dollars is to expensive you are in the wrong business , it takes money to make money , if you want a free mailer try phplist it has all the features you need.
