Well it's because applets need to be signed( with certificate) when they need to connect to other sites than source. Theoretically, if You accept such applet, it can steal Your private data or damage it. So be careful when accepting applets that asks You for permissions.
I'm not stealing data but I'm trying to publish my freelance job.
But as One said, maybe it's time to leave rapidshare for some better/free service.

Interesting to see megadownload.com in the list and not megadownload.net. The .com has been parked for years and seems to have only just had a CSE placed on it.

The .net is still ranked #1 for the term "megaupload search" but I get a "Server not found" when I visit it. (Maybe its just down atm)

Beware:
All rapidshare search engines are spam and scam.. No such can exaclty search into rapidshare database, what they do is to crawl other search engines for rapidshare related keywords and record the rapidshare links to build their own database, most of those links are broken and they are really very few compared to actual database of rapidshare.
Most rapidshare search engines, or similar ones, say PDF search engines, are made to scam people as they keep on trapping visitors and sending them from one page to other while never actually getting the rapidshare link he is search for. Some of them even fake an exact search and ask for a credit card payment of membership before downloading.

 

So is it All, Most or Some?

Can you post a link to a popular rapidshare search engine that asks for a credit card before downloading?

Anyway, I doubt anyone here at DP would fall for such an obvious scam and give out their CC details so they can download a free file

All is meant for general features of them, While using Some and Most I am talking about different feature of them.
And yes, I have encountered such sites many times, which promise instant searching in any major, uploading websites, any torrent you are searching for or similar things, but only for paid members..
