Please Help****I need Targeted Traffic**** Please Help

Hey Everyone,

I just completed my website- www.cheapoelectricity.com and I was wondering how can i get targeted traffic from customers living in the Texas area? and ofcourse the ones to hit the site should be interested in Electricity and signing up for lower electricity rates.

Please help.... any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

 

The best way to get organic and targeted traffic is from search engine. For that you will have to regularly build high quality backlinks for a better placement in the Search engines. Try cracking the first page by doing regular backlink building.

Your site is quite new.

I would suggest this.

Get some high quality content. Around 100-120 pages.
After that, go for link building. Do continuous link building for a month. After you have finished that, the next month should be like add five pages each days and build 50 links everyday.

You will see your site getting a lot of traffic in the beginning of the 4th month.

Try a variety of link building. Advertise your site. Hope it helps.

 

If it is just in the Texas area, you need to do advertising strictly offline.

Online will just waste your money.

 

You have to appear to be an authority on the matter and address that demographically. As there are not really local serps per say for that you have to do it via SEO.

I would start by sticking wordpress on the site and churning out a bunch of well written relevant copy.

I'd vote for local offline advertising as it will definitely save you a lot of time and most likely money as well.
You can start simple such as placing a few classifieds, sending out a couple of press releases (and hopefully getting some coverage or maybe even radio interviews etc. out of them), but why not get creative and do stuff such as sending a few good looking girls out to the streets distributing flyers with your ads. Possibilities are endless.

 

You can use Craigslist (takes some patience to learn how to get your ads to stick) and other online classifieds to target your geo location of Texas.

 

Use PPC advertising like with Google Adwords and geo-target to Texas.
You can also post on blogs or websites that are popular in texas.

i also agree with ppc marketing and target texas but ppc

takes alot of work and money too.

 

seo is another way but takes alot of time
you can also look at video marketing

Your offer seems to be targeted to a specific geographical location. Have you considered placing classified adverts in local newspapers? Also, give craigslist a go, they will have a section for your local area.
