I have a new website.. well been online for about 3months.. have traffic to it but not as much as i would expect.. finding it difficult to get into the higher ranks of google. what would you suggest. I spent money on google adwords, but that costs way too much.. must be a better option, hence why im asking the experts now..
Start by writing some articles and have them published on ezinearticles.com. Make sure that your resource box (you'll see what that is when you go there) is strong and sends readers to your sites.
Hey man Try the content network..you can get .03 cent clicks and they are very relevant if you're theme are knitted tightly
To get your website up the search results of google you need to build quality backlink to your website. Personally i use aricle marketing sites like ezinearticles, goarticles, isnare. As well as blogs, forums, answer.yahoo and hubpages. Goodluck.
Its easy to hire someone for writing good unique keyword dense articles. Or you can read this article to look at the layout along with the keyword density - http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=652a19472cca582b75a4fc82078ae6c8e04e75f6e8ebb871 Code (markup): You might learn something as well..
here are a few tips of mine: 1. do keyword research. Keywords are sooooo important when it comes to article marketing. You can have a really great article but unless it is keyword optimized the right way not that many people will see it. 2. PLR articles I run a PLR article website http://www.homebasedbusinessplrarticles.com I know that sounds like a big huge plug but really, if you're not crazy about writing it can save you a ton of time and energy. Just make sure you put in your own keywords before you use them. There are also a lot of other PLR article sites out there that sell articles in packs (mine is a subscription site) so do what's best for you 3. EzineArticles.com They are a pain in the booty sometimes but they're the best. There are a ton of free article directories out there but in my opinion if you're not on Ezine you're not really doing article marketing. 4. Get creative Try and write articles that people will WANT to click on. So no boring cookie cutter stuff. 5. Social Bookmarking Once you've published some articles get a boost by going to websites like Digg and StumbleUpon and bookmark them. 6. Use them as blog posts Articles don't have to JUST go on article directories. Get more out of them by making them blog posts or even using them as inspiration for Youtube videos. 7. Be consistent Try to get into a good groove of creating articles and submitting them. Do it all the time and some articles will rise to the top and become popular. Not every article you use will be a huge success but if you write enough you'll be good to go! I hope this helps. It's not the end all be all but just a few tips!
The first thng you need to do is keyword research. Then use 20 keywords in your article. Go to Ezinearticles and publish it.
Even though I didn't start this post thanks for all the tips. I'm trying to bring more people to my forum and this might be a way to do it.
Just a question, is it a better way to get some keywords and write an article or to write an article of your interest first and find some keywords relating to it ?
its a simple concept write an article and submit it online. someone reads it for the keywords that are in it and then they go to your website. the hard part is writing an interesting article, then once you write a good article you have to submit it everywhere so that many many people can read it increasing your chances of them going to your website
Article marketing is also all about numbers. When I setup a campaign I always use 100 articles as my aim for seeing good results. Of course Ezines should be your main site to submit to, but also don't overlook GoArticles, Articlebase, ArticleCity and the other majors. Good luck
Make a Lens On Squidoo / Advertise on Craigslist - Will get Ranking Post in Forum (as well as everyone else suggestions) When doing articles try to write out 10 at once, so you can get pass basic.
Concentrate on keywords that are not used by major sites in your niche. Try to get ranked for those first. Write articles and submit your link to social bookmarks as well....it will take some time, age of site always plays a major factor in ranking and in traffic.
