Hello all, I am new to the forum and new to web creation and have what I hope is a simple question. How do I avoid the sandbox?

My site is for a brick and mortar business and I just set it up about 6 months ago. We are not getting a ton traffic right now but we are increasing every month and I want to avoid getting dinged by Google.

Any suggestions on how to avoid getting put in the sand box? Thanks

build links to your site slowly at first, the more aggresively over time. too many links in the first few months can trigger a spam site flag. too many QAULITY links can do the same thing.

for example, month 1 build 1-300 links (some crap, some good, mostly mediocre). double the next month, then double again the next. then sky is the limit.

Thanks Korprit for the advice. I am starting my ink building right now, but how exactly do I get 300 links in one month? I am using the keyword luv to get about 3 to 5 links per day and have signed up on some link exchange programs but is there another way to get links faster. The link exchange sites seem to send me crap links and don't I want to get links from related websites? Maybe this should be a post in a different forum, but thanks Korprit for the advice.

there are link building apps and services that many IM and SEO professionals use. it really comes down to how much you are willing to spend, and how much work you are willing to put into the process. if it were as simple as we all wish, then everyone would be doing it ;)

not to say it's hard, but theres a lot of footwork to be done, and base knowledge to be learned
