Hello.. Guys I have an old or you can say very old directory site and its PR is 3 for 1 year now. It is an arabic language site so you may not understand anything. to Check ( this is not advertising!!) www.anqam.com while ago the visitors were more then 1000 visitors (with no promoting the site) but suddenly it went down and the visits was between 500 to 400 and nowadays the visits between 100-200! Some people said it's because of the window server? what do you think? and also how can I get some advantage from it? because I don't do anything to this site and I want to use it for useful and helpful things So what do you think and any ideas I should promote it again or sell it or? change it to something else or??? Or should I buy some PR links or??? By the way I am using a paid special script . thank you.
buying links from pr sites probably wont help, or at least not worth the money, windows server wont cause that crazy traffic drop either how to get it to 1000 visitors a day? i would like to know too (without spending so much)
Do whatever magic you did before to get it to 1000 visits a day and then flip it quickly before it begins to drop Using a directory site for 'useful and helpful things' is a somewhat complicated goal IMO
My site was getting more then 1500 visits a day because there was a high traffic on a arabic keyword in my site and the site was the first in google cz of this keyword. But now my site is the fourth in google no more in the first I think bcz I did not update it or something!)
that is the problem, search engines don't like sites that do not update. not only you need to update, you need to be consistant. if you update once a day/week/month you need to keep doing it. that is the typical mistake of site owners, most people think all they need to do is build the site, sit tight and visitors/money will come.
