I am looking at designing a better flyer for my business. I offer web design / development, domain reg, hosting, and seo. I am just wondering what information you would put on the flyer. I don't want to add too much text because people won't read it. Do I put info about the company? What would you do?
Explain what you can do for them in a in a simple 3 or 4 step process. Design - ? Brand - ? Promote - briefly explain your SEO here but keep it in simple terms then lead them to your website for a full rundown of your services from start to ongoing SEO
I'd offer a bit of information about my company such as the years in business or total experience. Add a few of the main services that you offer and highlight any special pricing or deals you have going as well. Drop a link to your website, and I think you should be good as gold!
Well, since a flier is basically a direct marketing piece, I think there are two crucial ingredients that have to be very prominent on the flier (or any other type of marketing device): a) An attention-getting message on what it is you can do for your audience. Benefits oriented. b) And a strong call for action, maybe with a deadline or a special offer. To bolster your credibility, you can add (in smaller print) your credentials etc. And make sure you have tear-off strips along the bottom if you plan to use them for bulletin boards so people won't just take the flier with them. The above poster made some good points. One thing I find much more effective is to get some pens printed with a bit of info and of course contact info. Hand out groups of ehhh. well, handfuls of them everywhere you go that takes a credit card. Booze stores are really good because people often times walk off with them. Hence, the pens do the marketing for you. Works like a champ in the little ski town I live in. hope that helps, Nigel
