Simply...if you're a newbie just ask a question on internet marketing and get help within this thread...the idea is to make this a good reference thread for beginners

People have got an entire forum to have their questions answered, so your thread's not really very 'ultimate', and with only 20 posts you are kind of the newbie around here - so dive in and answer questions that people have already posted - if you know lots of stuff people will be eager to hear about it, and in the long run that'll do much more good for your reputation than just posting a slightly random link with no explannation.

If someone posts a question somewhere else, he will get replies from all experts, otherwise if he posts it here nothing special he will get.

Im not helpingNewbies but Ill give this a shot. Unique visitors is not a easy thing to gain. There is no over night success to this. What you need to do is promote your site. Get backlinks and get listed in google.

You need great content and keep it updated. Google likes updates. So, keywords paired with backlinks. Eventually you will get into the Google ranks and start seeing unique traffic.

Now Im new also, but this is what Ive been told. Here is the equation

Google Rankings = Backlinks + SEO

    Sounds simple

First off you can start writing articles at ezinearticles and then submit them to articlesbase.com
    goarticles.com
    articlealley.com
    articledashboard.

Then start using socialmarker.com too to increase link juice

You can start answering questions in yahoo answers that are related to your site.

You can post in related forums that link to your site

    You can using ppc traffic

You can create a yotube video promotign your site and the benefits..but don't come over too salesy. Or you can create a popular youtube video (like a soccer highlights and have a link to people who might be interested in your site..lots of traffic)

You can start building a email list by offering a free incentive..then when you've 200 emails you can start doing adswaps which will increase your list size very quickly.

hmmm i am a bit puzzled HelpingNewbies at what you originally was seeking out when starting this thread...

However, Gvannorman I think you did a pretty good job helping him out here.

Dougie, definitely follow this equation Google Rankings = Backlinks + SEO it hold a lot of merit of increasing unique visitors to your site.

I don't think there is a free automatic submitter...just send your article to ezinearticles and articlesbase and duly build links to them....you'll get a lot of traffic that way

As for the 18.8million email list, be very wary as these can be duds..you'll be much better off building you're own highly targeted list is actively searching for solutions.

Yeah. I can't emphasize more what HelpingNewbies above said. Using that email list of 18.8 million is not a great idea. That list was probably purchased from some one that did nothing to target those subscribers. By collecting emails for yourself you can ensure that everyone who receives your email wants to get it and thus will yield higher pay out than that purchased list
