I am looking for a web hosting, I want to install phpbb multi forum and wordpress MU. So before you make me an offer be sure there two scripts can be installed on the host.
It doesnt matter if it is on or offshore hosting (if it is offshore is better)
Wildcard should be enabled as I want to create subdomains from the scripts.
Requirements
Unlimited subdomains
Unlimited databases
Unlimited emails
Bandwidth/disc space as much as possible
I will host only one domain.
Your hosting service must be at last 2 years old. I dont want any unlike suprise.
Price should be less than hostgator smallest webhosting plan.

Well offshore because I will not be responsible for what kind of forum or blog are the users going to create if the host is onshore I have to be strict on the forums/blogs content.

I have also visited fatcow.com web hosting service and at the moment they have a good offer. Anyone is using this hosting service?

To Dlatua: Is it that you just want to support smaller web host companies? You sort of risk them all of sudden being out of business or selling their site to someone else who either bumps up the price or has choppy service. You don't really risk that with larger web hosting companies. I've had accounts with several low paying hosting services in the past, that ended up doing just that. And it's really frustrating. The price was good and so were the many features the deal came with, but it only lasted a while until they sold their site or just disappeared. Most of those sites were like 12 bucks per year for hosting. Anyway, I was looking in Google just now and came across the Backy Corp. According to their whois information, they've owned the domain since 2003. But unclear when exactly they opened for business. They seem to meet your requirements. But you'd have to contact them about WP and that other script you wanted. I haven't a clue if they have it or not. And I don't know what Wildcard is. Something else you can ask them. They have a free plan and $20 per year (approx. $1.67 per month) plan. The other two are over your budget of $4 or less.

But if you want something solid with no "unlike surprises", I'd recommend going with a solid and secure company like HG, Yahoo or other. They are more than likely to be around for decades and not selling or disappearing like these other smaller hosts. Last thing you or anyone wants when buying hosting is going with a host that disappears with all of your sites' files and then some. Depends on what's more important to you, spending less or ensuring you host your site with a solid and secure company.
