2 year Old Profitable Web Hosting Business For Sale

I am selling my web hosting business in its entirety.

The winning bidder will get:

1. The website - (see link at bottom for details) which is over 2 years old. It is a PR4 site but does not get much traffic. The page rank is 100% legit and is due to the amount of backlinks that have been placed. I have done extensive SEO but have not had much luck with search engine rankings.

2. The customers which I will cover in detail

3. WHMCS - The site is hooked up to WHMCS and it is paid up for 10 months. It will cost you $110 a year come renewal time.

4. Control of the server which I will cover in detail below

Customers

There are 2414 websites hosted on one dedicated server.

14 - Single Site Hosting customers. All paying $5.99 per month = $83.86 per month

7 - Multi Site customers. These customer host directories. Each has between 66-25 sites on the server. Each pay $20 per month - $140.00 per month. I have committed to these customer that they may host up to 100 sites on the server per account before a rate increase. The key is that the sites they host must all be built by me so this drives additional business. I will offer to build any additional sites for the new owner for a discount so you can make money as well. I will expect as a condition of sale that the new owner honor these contracts.

18 - Annual customers that renew at various times throughout the year - $1309.83

32 - Customers who I sold a website to and included a year of free hosting. These customer's free hosting come due throughout the year. If they renew at $3.99 per month this would be an additional - $127.68 per month.

1 - Huge Directory Network - 2000 of the websites on the server comprise 1 large directory network owned by one customer. This customer is paying to reserve space on the server for 1000 additional directories which he plans to add in the next 60-90 days. All of these sites are contained in one large account. I will expect as a condition of sale that the new owner honer this contract. - $500/month

All customer except for 3 of the annual customers are set up on automatic Paypal subscriptions. I just added WHMCS and started moving customers over to that system I have 5-6 customers moved. The new owner will have to move over the rest in order to continue to receive payments.

I have some of my personal sites on the hosting which I will move within 30 days of the new owner completing the deal.

All customers are listed on an Excel spreadsheet with their email addresses, fees and renewal dates. This will be provided to the new owner.

Server details

Dedicated - Fully managed by East End Hosting.

I have been with them for 3 years and they are awesome. Never had an issue. They manage the server but it sits at The Planet

Dual Quad Core Intel Xeon 2.33GHZ Processors - 500 GB Hard Drive - Only about 20% (probably less) of hard drive will be used once the directory network of 3000 sites is done.

8GB of RAM

Server load fluctuates on average between .50 and 2.50. With 8 CPU's that is minimal.

Cost $499 per month

Revenue

Total income above comes to $835 per month so profit is approximately $336 per month (this factors in annual payments averaged out over 12 months). There are no other debts.

The hosting income generated from this business is nothing compared to the amount of money I generate from my customers through website design changes and other services. If they need changes they come to me. I will offer the new owner my services as at a discounted rate so you can profit off of these jobs as well with no work required on your end. You may also choose to keep all of this business for yourself if you are savy with web design.

I am unable to quantify the residual income that I get from web design on these sites but it is well over the amount I make on hosting alone.

Once the 3000 directory network is complete I believe an addiional 250 sites can be added to this server to create additional income for the new owner without overloading the server. That is up to you but this server is no where near capacity.

Conditions

I will expect the new owner to honor all contracts I have entered into with my Multi Site hosting customers and the one directory network owner. I will require that the new owner sign a contract agreeing to that. In exchange for that contract I will be willing to sign a Do Not Compete clause which will prohibit me from taking any of my old customers away from the new owner in the future.

I reserve the right to continue to build websites for the large directory owner only. I will refer all other customer requests to you OR you may choose to allow me to service their sites and I will cut you in on the profits.

The new owner must give me 30 days to remove my personal websites from the server.

Payment must be made via Cashier's Check or WalMart money wire to be paid for by the new owner. All funds must clear my bank before transfer of the site and account information takes place.

I will provide support to the new owner to make the transition as smooth as possible for a period of 6 months.

Questions

I will do my best to answer questions as quickly and accurately as possible. I have provided revenue evidence as best as I can via Paypal screenshots of customer's subscription payments. Since I cannot email anything to potential buyers I will post as much information as I can when requested for additional information.

Just added another $20 per month customer to my clients so monthly profit has been increased by $20 just in the last few minutes.

 

being yr clients paypal subscribers is a big problem since they cannot be transferred with the site

 

It's not an issue at all. You contact each one of them and let them know you are switching billing systems. They each need to sign up for their account through WHMCS. At that point their Paypal subscription get's cancelled and you invoice them through WHMCS monthly. Change of ownership change of billing system. The one's I have moved already have had no issue whatsoever.
