Sabosushimi, I like the idea, but I would exclude the hands and apply a different colour for the outline, because the background is already blue. I would change the lettering as well. The mirror reflection is also not necessary. Good concept, btw!
Chewysmom, thank you for your entries. However, I'm looking for more symbolism in the logo. Perhaps a little research would help. I found, for example, that the flower symbolising "Freedom" is "Bird of Paradise". This is what I'm looking for. The connection doesn't need to be obvious, but for a logo I believe it's good to have some deeper symbolism. So when someone asks me, I can say for example, "This thing in the square is the "Bird of Paradise", it symbolises Freedom.

I'd like to thank all those that tried, but I've decided to hire an external designer to make me the logo. There were some really nice ideas and I'm sorry to all those that tried hard. I would have chosen your logo if the site was a little different. Thanks again. I believe that I will hire the services of some of you in the future. Mods, please close this thread.
wait. i could do one final entry if youd permit me to, you seem to be trusted, i have 10/10 abandoned contest this month what would you expect from a designer who gave it their best shot for that. im not saying nobody trusts you but its just we're hesitant, *sad. if only admins can do anything about this, we would be in joy making endless of designs without any hesitation to be scammed or whatnot. well im not happy with the results. we're suppose to make you happy with the designs. anyway if you give us another chance id be glad to make you a competitive design. cheers.
I specifically wrote in my first post that I'm not under the obligation to choose a logo if it is not suitable for my site. Would you buy something that you don't like just because you were under pressure from the seller? I have realised that perhaps nobody will really go out of their way to do a great logo for 20 USD. And I understand that. But at the moment I can't afford to pay more. So far I've seen just simple template logos that look like stuff you can actually get online from free and I understand that. As I said, I'm not blaming you, the money is too little. That is why I've made a deal with a friend to make me a logo and I'll pay him later. You must understand that if somebody had showed me a logo that is adequate for my site, I would have bought it without hesitation. But I've tried to guide you and give you feedback and we weren't getting there. So I got tired of explaining and giving ideas, because like that I could probably make a logo myself. I also didn't want to torture you anymore because we weren't thinking along the same lines about the logo. As I said, I understand you bitterness, but all the conditions of this context were written in the first post.
