Roboform is quite good and better than the automated softares, which is just waste of money. Manual submissions will ensure you that you submissions are going in right place and properly. Also, you will be able to keep the tracks of your submissions.

The most important field is title. So make unique and keyword rich titles... For keywords and description... Well i can say they have almost zero value unless a few directories...
You can use directory submitter softwares described Free Directory Submission Softwares since by combining them you can submit your directory to a few hundrets directories within an hour or so although in most cases, it is not advisable...

If your time is worth 0.2$ / hour please do manual directory submission. Do you people use any brain cells ? Google does not give a flying fak about how your data ends up in the directory review queue.

Semi-automatic submission is the way to go. Use a tool to load live directories and fill in fields as well as choose a suitable category - but still give yourself the opportunity to check/ change the directory category to the best possible option.

I agree with the people saying to outsource it. It's really not worth your time to do it yourself.

yeah $10 is pretty cheap. :p but then again dont expect the same amount of quality if you do it yourself.

Thanks for all the useful information. The list that's provided for free directories that don't require a recipricol link will help incredibly.
