Yes Law Of Attraction is indeed BS if you're looking at it in the magical abracadabra hocus-pocus perspective. "The Secret" talks about "Ask, Believe, Receive". Nowhere in that entire movie does it mention WORK. If I sign up for a clickbank account, the universe isn't going to magically make my earnings or hack into clickbank and give me sales. I actually have to DO the work. I totally agree that the Law Of Attraction should be used as a motivational tool that changes the way you work and possibly even the outcome. But without that action, there's nothing. Notice the word "action" in "Law of attraction".
never comes without work, even if you ask, you have to work to get there, point being....determination The only thing the author asked was success and success they've seen, this reworded obvious was a hot seller
In your case, 1. Ask : you ask about making money 2. Believe : believe money can be achieve 3. with you ask and believe, take the FIRST step that are read the next step (from the tutorial/guide/e-book you buy). That first step is also a WORK. For some people, they only need 3 step to get the goal accomplished. But, for others, need more steps to make they got the goal. If you still have 'believe', the will continue by reading others blogs, articles etc. If you give up, then you loose, but, can not blame on law of attraction. It could be your law of attraction is too weak, or you loose focus to your target/goal. That whay they said also, focus.. If you feel down and choose to give up, then analyze goal, go back to the 'believe'. Confirm your heart, mental and mind that you are 'believe' your goal is realistic, accepted and the most important: you can make it !! Good luck, keep focus and consistent..
Well this is the Law of Attraction according to Wikipedia: 1. Know exactly what you want. 2. Ask the universe for it. 3. Feel, behave and know as if the object of your desire is already yours (visualize). 4. Be open to receive it and let go of (the attachment to) the outcome. I think this is completely true. Sure you have to do work, but I don't think that makes the above BS.
It works in the the sense that if you seek something, you are more likely to find it. For example: If you don't see the value of gold, when you walk by it all you'll see is just another rock. Think about being rich, you'll just notice other rich people. But think about ways of making money, you'll see opportunities to make money. Then you can go on to figuring out ways to make the best of these opportunities. Just be specific. Send cryptic messages to your brain, you'll get cryptic answers.
First you need to take ACTION Repeated action will get you TRACTION Keep at it long enough and do it well enough and you'll get ATTRACTION...
I watched "The Secret" DVD. It was probably the most peaceful nap I've ever had. All of the nice soothing music with the calming voices...it was great! But yes, it's a concept geared towards born losers who will probably never find any real measurable success in life.
I was far impressed with the tv shows/dvd and advertising everywhere like on Oprah etc. Its obviously designed to make a few people a lot of money - the creators and it was well marketed and tried to take advantage of the whole viral effect that can happen these days. The basic premise of the concept was hardly earth shattering news but if you look thru all the hype and filler junk, there are some good points that i think every body can take on board in there life to get more out of it and use approaches that are systematic to get your goals.
Everyone wants a hocus pocus way to succeed in life. They turn to religion, laws of attraction, etc. It's really all BS. Some of us have to work, others don't have to. Some of us will work all of our lives and end up failing. That's just the way it is, sadly.
