    Exactly, if you're talking about the usual jumble of ZQXV type stuff. You can buy this stuff for $5 (or less) from owners selling because they can't afford or don't want to pay the renewal fees.

    The domains quoted above were dropped because the previous owners didn't want to renew and couldn't/didn't find a buyer.

    You can still get very good prices for meaningful LLLL.coms though.

    There's a reason why they're available. The reason is, they're not worth much. People say "but they will increase in value" but can't tell you why, and that's becaues there is no good reason for them to increase in value.
    There was a craze a while back where people thought these things would increase forever, but those days are over. Buy one if you have the money and can indulge in a bit of fun, or buy if you have something you want to do with the domain yourself, but don't buy because you think an llll.com a great investment.
