In the past I sent adwords ads to my normal product pages. Today I started sending them to some other pages which are disallowed using robots.txt. Google looks at the pages to get a quality score, does it still do this if the googlebot is disallowed? It doesn't seem to have made any difference with my campaign.
If the googlebot is disallowed it will not look at your page. Make a test to be sure if your Robots.txt is properly configured, not allowing for example the keyword site tool: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordTool to not hit your page.
It turns out that disallowing google from visiting your page will harm your quality score. https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=38197&query=robots.txt&topic=0&type=f
yeah. you must allow AdsBot-Google to make adwords not affect your quality score. if it is disallowed, your quality score may be set to minimum.
According to How do I block Googlebot?, this code disallows Googlebot, Googlebot-Mobile and Googlebot-Image, but it allows Mediapartners-Google and Adsbot-Google : User-agent: Googlebot Disallow: / Code (markup): Jean-Luc
