How to increase your adsense revenue

    A tip for those who want to increase their click through rate and in turn your adsense revenue:

    1. Make sure your ads blend in well with your site. The more the ads look like part of your site the higher the click through rate. I colour my google ad links the same colour as my site links. Which is usually blue hyperlinks.

    I give some examples in my signature.

    Dont put your ads beside images. It does increase click throughs, but Google dont like this.

    What are your thoughts?

    I think that is sure way of getting Google AdSense account banned if caught.

    Wowwww...guess you need to login to your account and check at the "Ad setup" link. Google themselves offer you the option to change the link colors so that it blends well with your site. Why wud they do that if it was against their policy???

    As long as the image doesnt confuse the ads unit, then it is fine.
