    Hello,

I would like to know something about encreasing PR, how can encrease my PR faster.
Is possible to encrease PR from 0 to 5 in 1 year ?
I know a lot about link building, etc., but I´m interested about your experiences. I have a website from 2002 and my PR is still 4.

You can do it in a shorter time, 4-6 months. Buy higher relevant PR links PR4,5 and one or two 6's. Do a bunch of directory submissions 500 or more and the should get you a PR4 possibly 5.

age rank is exponential. Each number increase is harder to get than the last one by a factor of 10. There are some small things that may help though.

Google seems to value web 2.0 content greater than standard content. So include a blog or a forum on your website with permanent links on those pages back to your home page. It should be pretty easy to get a PR 5 on a blog as long as you update it daily. I would suggest placing your blog on a sub domain and linking on the blog back to the original domain. Google ranks sub domains as unique websites in themselves.

You might also try reserving your domain for 10 years. Google applied for a patent a while back that stated they may use the registration length of a domain as a factor in ranking. No one knows if they do, or how valuable the boost may be.

If you don't have one, add a sitemap. Google slapped a PR 5 on my website's sitemap, even though the other pages on the site max at PR4.

Use absolute links on your pages. This means that you should include the entire http://www.yoursite.com/heresapage.html rather than ../heresapage.html or just heresapage.html. Google *may* initially rank these as three separate pages which would dilute your back links in the short run until they figure out that they are one page.

    Hope this helps!

A few months ago I launched a brand new site and spent $50 on marketing. 4 weeks later it was PR5.

I bought 100 directory submissions, added it to my signature, added it to digg and sent a press release via PRweb.

Links, links and more links. That's it. If you want PR, you have to get links like it's your job. Oh yeah, if you're running a website that you want to be successful, getting quality relevant links IS your job.

One of my sites naturally increased from PR0 to PR5 in 8 months even though I didn't do any link building. But some people linked to me by themselves.
