    Basically, the market's too crowded. If you don't find your own niche, you won't make any money. This goes for at least webhosting/domain reselling.

    Everything requires one or the other kind of skill. People fail because they think everything is easy. Yes ppeople do make money as image host and domain reselling, but they know their thing. If you do as well, you will make money.

    Yes this niche still profitable.
    For example,image host,you need to setup a free and fast loading image host coz nowday many image host is loading slow.

    24 % of my personal blog comes from Google Image Search. the visitors coming from image search was better clickers on the Google Adsense Ads on the website! Just a tip :)

    - Yes, I think you can still make money from Image Hosting or Domain Reselling, but I would try to find your own Niche (instead of making it General).

    For image hosting try and ad network that pays you for CPM.Because you will get traffic but no ad clicks.

    I don't really think anyone will actually pay for hosting some images out there, there are many free sites for those like imageshack etc. :]

    Yes! Therefor one must start free image hosting website and have unique feature. And fast loading is necessary. And mostly one can earn from displaying ads.
