How much has Adsense impacted the lives of webmasters in the less developed world?

Me too. I lived there many years. It was pretty expensive. And I was pulling down some good money. Cashed out when tech tanked in 2002.

Now living in Thailand. It isn't dirt cheap here, but you can live well on $1,000 U.S. per month. You can also go broke very fast if you have certain weaknesses - my advice is stay away if you are a sucker for a pretty face.

AdSense+YPN brings me $1,500/mo. Quite a nice, comfortable, stress-free life.

 

The nature of the internet has opened up the possibilities - in theory - for everyone to have a chance to earn an improved income. However, daily lives in many parts of the world simply do not enable the extremely poor to be able to take advantage of it as they do not have access to the facilities such as a computer and reliable internet connections etc.

 

So instead of trying so hard to increase the clicks and traffic to your site.. adSensers could all migrate to India and retire early

*packs bags and waits for the current "crisis" to end in the UK airports*

Guess the same is for all Internet based business, as with a laptop and Internet connection It does not matter where we work.

In Croatia where I live ,i will be happy with about 1 K a month.
In future my plans are to make this come true,
Average salary is abouth 800-900 dollars but expences are very high theese days.

 

Good thing that internet is cheap here about 25$ a month

yes my adsense income equal to my monthly salary, i am doing web designs on my free time, thinking to make is as a full job and leaving my current job.

 

Its not just India but many other countries. Of course, usuall the poorer the country, the more your money is likely to buy. Anyway, India is changing very fast, so soon the standard of living will be the same as the developed countries.

I think not, although India is changing really fast, the majority of the population is far from being rich and the infrastructure of the whole society needs many many years' improvement. India is catching up fast, yet a long way to go.

 

I'm from the same city that JMMAN is... avarenge ammount for me with high-school education is less like $100 per month and It's not enought for living so I've decide to live with adsense and I going well just write now

 

Well in the under developed UK im making $100 a month its changed my life

 

Still if you can manage $1000 pm you ll be considered among rich person in India. Don’t think things is going to change much in next 5 yrs.

No way $1000 will not get you anywhere in metros like mumbai, chennai and bangalore where a decent apartment costs 15000 (300-400$)/month, your electricity, internet bills, petrol , vechicle maintanance and weekend parties.. You will land up empty pocketed within the 25th of the month waiting for the next months check..

yea thats for sure people working in country like nepal,india, earn less then those who earns from adsense, by profession i'm a doctor but just doing a side job with adsense so i couls add some more money for my future
