subdirs & /directory/ both went down?

    I had a few subdirectories and /directory/index.php urls that did good in Google for a long time. Since last week they went down to place 50 or 60 or something. The base url (www.domain.com) went up a little but not in the top10 yet. Did anybody notice this as well? Did Google change it algo a little last week to aim more for the main urls, and less for the subs / dirs?

    To me its not such a big deal but I guess many sites might find it interesting to know?
